The Canadian Interventional Pain course has been a yearly event since 2008. Organized by the interventional pain management special interest group of the Canadian Pain Society, its purpose is to promote evidence based practice in the field of interventional pain medicine. This 2-day course is unique in Canada and consists of an intensive review course the first day, followed by a skill lab, which allows participants to practice techniques on cadaveric models under the guidance of experienced clinicians.
